Do a lot of college age people come to TTR during spring break ? We were there during Feb. this year and we are thinking of going back during spring break next year which should be the 2nd full week of March. It was a great time but need to go when we have more time off from work. thanks RB
the resort does not cater to spring break-- over 21. but the off resort could get a little crazy. 2 time periods we will avoid- spring break- and 1st part of june. 1 trip observed a drinking contest between freshman thru senior-- all high school.
We were at Temptations for two fabulous week this last spring break. Great people great times. The seecond week, we saw a lot more lost puppy's looking for their moms. Kinda funny how they would travel in packs wondering around. But over all, not to bad.
We were at TTR at the same time last year, must say we had a fab time, with most of the Spring Breakers staying in the hotel zone. There were a few youngsters just about on the 21 limit that had been wrongly sold TTR for Spring break, they slept all day and went to the clubs at night!!! We are not ones for leaving the resort too often so they did not affect us, but the clubs we were told were very lively! We have booked our return visit from the 11th March next year, for 2 weeks. We did notice quite a few lively groups flying out from the Uk on our flight for spring break and were so pleased not to be at the same hotel as them!!! We also saw some very sad lost puppies when we went shopping during the day into Cancun.
We know there might be better times to go but we have to go when we can get time off from work, we never left the resort the last time and probably wouldn't again except we probably would go uptown during the day once just to see what it is. It all boils down to going in March during week of 13th or not being able to go, but we don't want to be swamped with kids either. thanks RB
I would not worry about the breakers if you are going to be at TRC. There may be a few but you probably will never see them. The airport may be a little crowded, and I would avoid the clubs although I can't hardly imagine there being any more people in them.
