How much $$$ do you usually bring to an all-inclusive resort? I dont plan on doing many excursions - probably just a boat trip to see the Arch. My friend is bringing about $500 and I was planning on bringing $400, but I wonder if I will even need that much. THANKS!

When we went we planned on taking some of the side trips so we took about $500 in $20,10, 5 & 1. But we had so much fun at the resort that we spent the whole trip at the resort. They didn't have the massage hut on the beach yet so we use the spa at the resort and that was put on our bill. So if you plan on staying at the resort all you need is some money for tipping and maybe some shopping at the mega store and gift shop. I know that they say that no tipping is required but it is nice to show how much you appreciate their service (beside they go out of their way to help you, after all money makes the world go around.)

Really depends if you plan on going out to any clubs...if so it could be $50.00 to get in (drinks included). My husband and I bring about $700.00 for the both of us, go to one club and tip at the hotel, I do a bit of shopping, airport meals when needed. We end up bringing about $200 home.
