This is our first time to TTR. At other resorts we found 'secret menus' for drinks. Is that the same at TTR? If so, what are some specialized drinks that one must try?
They have someone set up each day outside in front of the buffet who makes 3 different special drinks. I believe Sunday is Rum, Monday is different beers and Tuesday is Margaritas - the drinks there are made with fresh fruit and were really good.
They have a drink menu at some of the bars. It has some different drinks outside the normal. It's not secret, you just have to ask.
It's the same menu since the renovation. It's pretty basic. Temptation is the first place I had a mini beer. If you have never had one, try it. It's a shot and it's not beer.
Good to know! I haven't had a mini beer, I'll have to try. We checked out Excellence last year and they had a bunch of incredible mixed drinks. Some didn't have names. Honestly as long as I have unlimited rum, I'm good.
