Just curious if anyone has had any luck going to Mexico with the Vapes that work with the greener tobacco. We don't usually do this but hey while in cancun. Have heard it is a big no no to purchase and smoke at the resort. Thanks in advance. Just making final prep list
You can get it but its not like you can just smoke it where ever you want. Also keep in mind you're in a foreign country with corrupt police. Personally I suggest keeping with the booze, and that comes from a guy who smokes.
Unless you really know what you are doing or have a trusted connection,... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ATTAIN. It is getting spy-like around resort. The easy days of 'Let's Make a Dope Deal' are currently over.
I used an ecig last Halloween. The one with a tank containing liquid looked nothing like a cigarette. I was stopped by security leaving my room and questioned for 15 minutes about it being marijuana. Personally I wouldn't even consider it. After I was stopped I left it in my room and only smoked it there. My biggest fear after thinking about it was how would I actually prove that it didn't contain marijuana if security called the police. It would have been my word vs theirs which in turn would have been all the cash I had with me, so definitely not worth the risk. Jeff
ok, really the electric smokes that take liquid flavoring is illegal in mexico? or is it just a way to mess with you?
There were many e-smokers in April including me. No one ever stopped me to ask but if i was asked im guessing my banana flavored nicotine would smell a bit different..lol Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
I think you missed his part... He was referring to the pens that use the "Greener" "Smellier" tobacco type products...
Yeah if I do bring it might be more for the second resort I will be at recovering from my days at TTR. At the second resort I just plan to eat, sleep, and relax so what better way to do that. My fear is the airport at Cancun. If you are given the red light how much do they search? Dogs? You cant tell the differ in the oils be just looking at it.
The views of patrons or even staff on drugs does not negate the fact that drugs are illegal in Mexico. Add to that the fact that tourism is their bread and butter and you can understand them not wanting to be known as a resort who turns a blind eye and becoming the target of a police force with questionable morals. I've heard more than one story of the police using scare tactics and threats on people with small amounts of drugs in order to get an immediate, and sometimes large, cash fine out of them. If they knew they had a target rich environment in one resort they would come by frequently for a little extra cash.
