Wondering if their salon is full service, who is great so see for what and what they charge for quick small services... I'm going to need to get my bangs braided back every morning into a loose top knot. Will someone at the salon just braid my hair for me for a good tip? Do they offer facials after a night of going too hard? I've heard the hotel gives you some credit to use in their facilities. Can this credit be used for these things? The sensual massages sound like a rad time, but I might go seeking out a good old fashioned neck and shoulder deep tissue massage. Is that a thing there?
I'm not sure on the salon services, but there is always someone at the salon desk when I walk past so someone must be available! I can't speak for the facials but I'm sure you've set yourself up for some offers now Yes, IF the hotel gives you credit, it's for use at the spa/salon/gift shop. If you want a good deep tissue massage, walk left (North-ish) along the beach, past the volleyball nets, past the local boat dock, to the next resort (think it's called Cancun Bay - if the beach is flooded, don't be shy about hoping the ropes). There's a white linen cabana with 2 beds there. They open at 10am, but usually have 2 people by 11am if you want a couple massage. Regular massage $40 USD per hour, deep tissue $46 (an hour at the TTR spa is $250+). They have lovely scented oils and cold water for you. Really sweet ladies, we prefer this one. We usually walk down our first morning at the resort to book the 11am time slot, and have them hold that time for us every other morning for the rest of our trip Perfect time for us to have a lazy morning, get down there for the rub, and back for when the pool gets going. There's a second setup on the beach further down by the jetski hut. This one is more bare bones (no linen/oils/water), but they are equally good massage. Price ranges from $40-50 per hour depending on which person you ask.
