    Just a shout out to all of my fellow Albertans during this time of flooding. I am currently in Saskatoon riding out the floods, waiting for my office to reopen next week.

    For those that haven't heard a massive flood has gone through southern Alberta the last few days displacing up to 100,000 (including me). My stuff is way up high, so other than losing a few groceries I'm fine but a lot of other people are going to lose everything.

    Again, hope everyone is ok and stay safe!

    The water levels are finally receding and many people are now allowed to return to their homes. We also have plenty of volunteers for the much needed clean-ups in the weeks to come. Best of luck to everyone down river of us

    Our son was evacuated from his home on Friday night when the state of emergency came down the line and we are still unsure of the damage he will find when he returns home. We are higher up and are able to help those in need which is a blessing.

    Evacuation is still in affect here (MH, AB), but city officials braced for the worse case and things are somewhat looking up from previous news reports, information and direction; evenso, much devastation in specific low lying areas occurred, but our community is doing what we can to get through this ordeal.

    Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those effected by this Flood and to our family and friends in Calgary and here, we will do what we can to help out!!

    Just got off the phone with my apartment building. Everything is back up and running so I can go home whenever I want. And my place is just two blocks from the 9th street bridge so I am feeling lucky!

    Can you let me know what the city is like when you get home? I’m booked next week to travel to Calgary for the stamped from Toronto but thinking of canceling!
