I just drove past the Riu Cancun where there are at least 40 police and army trucks and 100s of police- most of which were surrounding and emptying a white SUV. Anyone heard anything? Needless to say the traffic on the north carriageway is at a standstill.

Well organized crime members only drive black SUVs, so I'm sure it's just a drill. Haha.

Tracy: Could it have something to do with the arrest of Jesús Alejandro Salazar Rodríguez(El Tin), one of the heads of the Gulf Cartel?

He is suspected if beheading Greici Elizabeth Vargas Rivera(who was found in Bonampak, November 2009) and also involved in killing one of the Cancun police, Miguel Ángel Puch de la Cruz.

On the front of Novedades yesterday was a report of how the van that was stopped was suspected of carrying arms- however it was a mistake and the guy stopped received an apology.
