My husband and I moved here a year ago. We went back to the states for 2 weeks for the holidays and decided that the only thing lacking in Cancun was our friends. We would like to change this and are interested in meeting other english speaking Cancun residents. I have a friend that is part of a bar tour in Denver. There are about 20 "members." Once a week they meet at a bar for socializing. The bar is chosen by the alphabet. The first week they met at a bar that started with the letter A. Punch cards were made and the goal is to make it through the alphabet. Anyone who is interested in being a part of the Cancun Alphabet Bar Tour, send me an email at julietravels@aol.com. Count me in, I probably wont be able to make it every time but an occasional night out with expats is always fine by me.
I find that it's better for me to plan things that don't involve drinking. It's so easy to drink without thinking much about it, I don't need to plan to do it also.
