We will be in Cancun from 2/16 thru 2/23. I have 4 teenage boys that I want to take to a soccer game while we are there. During our last visits we saw a stadium somewhere downtown. Does anyone have any info or a website where I can look into it. Thank you.
If I were a teenage boy and into soccer, I would go ape$hit to be taken to a game! The stadium is Andres Quintana Roo and the team is Atlante, one of Mexico's national soccer teams. I am sorry that I can't give you a link, but the only schedule I found was on Atlante's website and in Spanish. The only home game during your stay is on the 17th, Sunday, at 6pm. Tickets are usually pretty cheap. Last year, we were on the bus going back to our hotel and saw that a game was just ending: the US Women's national Team was there. Unfortunately we totally missed the game, but watched them practice for a while, which was neat.

What a great treat for them. I am sure that dad will also have a great time, especially if you like to drink beer...cheap and cold! I believe you can buy tickets at the box office just before the game, but in this case, any hotel employee will be genuinely enthusiastic about directing you!
