If you've been to Coco Bongo's......this message is not for you. If you've been to Cancun and NOT been (to CB's); or, never been to Cancun .....make arrangements, during your trip, to go to Coco Bongo's one night. It's a rock concert; a cirque de soleil show; rockin'-ass nightlcub; etc..., etc..., etc.... All this can be experienced with 2,500 of your closest friends. So.....which theme night are you blowing off?
Best Bet is to go to Coco Bongos the same night the resort goes, that way all the people that you have been partying with all day/week are likely to be with you and you save a bit of money and have a free ride there with VIP access.
Sounds like we need to go see CB's. However we are at that point where really loud music is no longer fun for us...... Question... 1. Is the volume over the top? 2. Is the tobacco smoke unbearable? ( blue haze?) 3. How long does the resort trip last? Gosh I just reread my post...... Oh noooo I'm old...... :-O Thanks in advance for your knowledge..... Sam & T
We've been to Coco Bongo every time we've been to Cancun. Even in 2008 when we got married we went the wedding week and then again on the honeymoon week This year I'm pretty sure that we're just going to chill out at the resort . If you've never been.... Coco Bongo's is NOT TO BE MISSED.
Yes. The music is loud. You are forewarned. I don't recall ever seeing anyone smoking in there, though (smokin' HOT...yes!....but not smoking cigarettes).
Appreciate the warning Injnnc..... One other question... can guys wear shorts or are long pants required...... Just hate to wear pants on vacation..... ;-)
Sounds like we need a group trip to Coco Bongo's we went on a bar hopping trip aroung Cancun a few years back and it was a blast!:daveandmo:
All clubs in Cancun are now smoke free. I can remember when you could smoke in the mall in Cancun *L*.. things have changed a lot.
Guys can wear shorts. Girls can wear "almost" anything. Our Canadian girlfriend wore ass-less chaps in there, once. My wife wore a sheer, black top in there the same night. Security does their job. We've NEVER had an issue in there (we've been 10X or more).
