I'm new to the site and I've never been to cancun. I've looked up other resorts online and have decided to go with TTR. I've recently broken off an egagement due to the realization that i deserve better than what was being given from the relationship. So I want to let loose and do everything I can to forget. I'm thinking of booking from October 8th - 15th. I'll be going by myself as none of my friends are able to go on such short notice. If anyone can provide me some feedback on going the the resort alone, it would be greatly appreciated. Needless to say, I'm a newly single guy, good looking with lots of time and money on his hands LOL! It's either go on vacation or buy another motorcycle and since riding season is almost over here in Canada, a vacation sounded very logical. If anyone is going there around that time hit me up as it would be nice to have a partner(S) in crime while i'm there. Cheers, Allan
Hi Raven, my best friend and I are coming Oct. 7-10 for a girls weekend. We're both happily married, but we'd be happy to be your wingmen! As for coming single, just keep your expecttions realistic. TTR isn't a big singles meat-market. When we were there, it was probably 80 percent couples and 15 percent big single-sex groups. You'll never meet a better group to party with, and you'll have friends as soon as you walk up to the pool bar, but don't expect it to be like an MTV spring break with a bunch of single women. But if you don't mind the small odds of a hookup, I think TTR is the perfect choice to come solo since it's so much easier to meet people than at other resorts. Sorry about the engagement, but you've definitely come to right place to drown your sorrows!
Well the wheels in my head are certainly turning. I just wanna go there and have fun. I don't have a problem meeting women but thanks for the heads up. I just really didn't want to go there alone not knowing anyone. Not that that's stopped me in the past. I just want to go and have a good time. I wouldn't mind leaving the resort either and exploring.
I figured if you'd been looking online you knew all that, but sometimes you hear stories on here of single guys thinking TTR is just a nonstop orgy. Anyway, Caroline and I are definitely going to hit up at least one of the clubs while we're there, and the more the merrier.
Yeah Summerbum. There's places like that i can go to here in toronto. I just need a really nice vacay and meet some really cool people.
