Okay so the forcast for Calgary today is 30 cm of snow with 70 km winds. We have to drive to Calgary tonight (3 hour drive)and fly out early tommorow morning (6:00am). Snow is suppose to start tonight sometime. This will be the third year in a row that we have to wait to get de iced, and it totally sucks. Last year a plane ahead of us went off the runway and we had to wait 1.5hrs on the runway for them to clean the airport and get people off that plane. 22 of us got to Calgary and they ran us to our connection. It was a charter so they waited .5 hr for us. This year we have a connection in Texas with only 1hr there. We might not be so lucky. Also it rained all night last night and if it freezes the highways may end up closing making the drive impossible. Sometimes being Canadian sucks. Looks like I will have to dig out my winter coat again but only long enough to get there. Okay that was just me venting. LOL See you all in Cancun.

We had a near record low here in the Florida Panhandle this morning of 51 degrees (F). I must admit that I have only seen snow maybe 5 times in my entire life, but our beach sands are as white as snow. I know how apprehensive you must be and sincerely hope that your trip comes off without a hitch. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Glenn is still working today until probably 5:00 PM. Not gonna be in Calgary until 8-10 pm tonight. Glad to hear it is still rain. Maybe they are wrong. It rained here all night and there is ice on my patio table. Watching the weather channel and they are changing it to only 1-5 cm in Calgary (must be five minutes later). Unfortunately I do know Alberta and at this time of year there is the attitude that it will melt by noon so why plow. Well gonna make it there even if we have ot steal our neighbours ski doos. NOt SURE WHERE THE HELL THE LUGGAGE IS GONNA GO THOUGH.

    Cheers.

You can only do a direct flight if going 7 days.......we are going for ten so it requires more changes to get there. Glenn booked it so our flight itme is 7 hours but we have to land in Texas and change planes. Way better than some of the 22 hours to get there options. Better deals if you travel from Calgary too. Paying 1257.00/esch for 10 days.
