Hi, last time we came to Mexico, we went to Xel-ha and had a great time snorkeling(we had never done it before). We want to do some again this trip and I was hoping people could give me their impressions of Garrafon National park vs other places. The reason I was thinking of going there this time was so we could visit the turtle farm . Or, is there any good snorkeling around the resort?
My crew last time went snorkeling during a full day excursion to Isla Mujeres, the Island of Women. It was unique in the fact that you are in the middle of the ocean where they set you out to go snorkeling. I know they enjoyed themselves, I enjoyed not waiting for a drink on the boat.
We did scuba diving in Cancun several years ago and it was awesome. Well worth the extra money if you think this is something that might interest you.
