i have been reading up on some stuff and cannot find a clear answer, i have read that Cancun is going smoke free and was wondering if it true and if TTR is smokefree or have smoker section the last time i was there you could smole any where,
You can't smoke anywhere indoors, but anywhere outside is ok. Not much different than anywhere else really.
Meaning you can still smoke at Patio's, on the beach and around the pools. I myself hope one day to stop this horrible habit and not feel segregated and feel like a social outcast. Be respectful of nonsmokers, don't leave butts in the sand, or by the pool, even I've seen people put out a smoke on the edge of the pool ewww. The bartenders have ashtrays just ask.
As the others have said, a few years ago, cancun went smoke free just as the united states did. Anywhere outside is fine, but not inside.
Its A bad habit but some bodys got to do it I dont like seeing butts on the ground ether hope to quit some day
TTR isn't smioke-less, yet. Hate to tell ya this, Tazman, but I'd sort of prefer if at least it was smoking in designated areas. I only get hangovers when I'm drinking where people are smoking. Weird and selfish, maybe, but that's how I am.
