With only about 17 days away from the grand opening, I am wondering what is up with the sky bar and the roof-top pool. I saw someone's pictures taken from a drone on Monday that showed the roof, and it looked like there was still a substantial amount of work that needed to be done. Now I know how fast they can knock things out, so I am not trying to be negative here, but if just seems like they would have been further along with this feature. Maybe with having to fix and so many other areas in the construction this fell behind, or maybe this isn't part of their grand opening plans anyway.
Great question. If anyone is going soon can you try and find out? Or maybe Steve can get more information? Not sure us common people would get a good answer. I could see them saying either "nothing is up there" so they don't ruin the surprise or "it will be open very soon". I didn't think it looked like it would be ready for the grand opening from the drone flyover either.
... well maybe just maybe we have seen the inside of all that. Its a mess up there but I bet its open. Pool is ready its just missing water, have even see a few ass's in it already LOL Honestly though its all removed from the party, I do not see it as the spot to go unless you are having some "private party "
I can confirm this. They have tons of people working all day. Glass wall has been installed at edge. They do plan on having it ready by Grand Opening next week. They walled up all of the stairs to prevent folks from snooping. Despite this I do not know how/if they will make it. But it is Mexico!
I agree its pretty far from the party. However, given the proper view of those ass's, the 'private parties' can be pretty good!
Anyone know how they are planning on using the two? Sky Bar & Rooftop Pool, I mean? Adjuncts tot he Penthouse room(s)? Hireable for private parties? Just go up there and hang out as a preferred spot if you don't like being down at the Sexy Pool (as I expect the access to the Tower rooms to be controlled?)
