I'm trying to organize a week in 2016 for single men and women so there is lots to mingle and have fun together. Any feedback on this is welcome.
hola Your taking it the wrong way it's not a week to take over the whole resort but just a good of singles there at the same time and raise money for chinos.
Having been to the resort as a single male myself many times "and going back again this coming up April as a single , I have always found other singles there to mingle with, and also plenty of great couples that are great to hang out with. Once you get to be involved in hanging out with a group of people, it doesn't really matter anyway.. " That has been my experiences anyway!" I'm just stating my opinion, but one of the things I love about TTR is the surprise of the diversity of singles, couples, groups that come together!
I didn't see that in your origanal post . For fundraiser Best thing is to pick the week you r going , and organize some sort of fund raiser or 50/50,,, or public awareness campaign ,, but to limit it to singles is an instant killer .
Look at the post it doesn't anywhere say singles only just a singles week. Ihave gone to TTR 3 times as a single. I have read all the negative posts about all the too many single males causing problems. This is about bringing singles to the resort in a positive way and to raise money for Chinos.i have had many singles thinking its a great idea. The couple are welcome to interact and contribute. Sorry the confusion lets all come together for Chino and the kids. Cheers
re-read the posts,,,, 90+ percent of all the negative posts are about GROUPS or BACHELOR parties ruining the vibe. the other 10% are usually about a specific incident , and there are as many of those about couples.( no one ever complains about bad females ,lol ) The forum is nothing but overly positive to the ''single'' male traveler . The only time it gets negative is when a lone single male traveler take offense to a negative report about a bachelor party because they contain single males . ..... They are not one or the same. Your post is nothing but confusing..''Single week'',, ''Single men'', and contradictions??? I applaud your effort to organize a fundraiser ,, but mingling with the couples is a better way to go . I am glad you are coming back after your bad experiences in the past . I honestly did not expect to see you again.
Donald I have always mingled with couples in the past and never had a problem. In my last post I'm welcoming couples. Your right I could have named it better, the singles I have talked to so far were more interested in the charity part.
This is all I'm gonna say about this "and keep in mind, I'm a single male that LOVES TTR!!" I think it's great that you want to raise money for Chino's cause! But I think it's just the way you worded it, as text does not translate as well as a conversation. I think your heart is in the right place, but think of the repercussions of advertising a singles week on here.. Most at TTR are couples, and seeing something about a singles week "even if it's not singles only!" May cause people to change their dates of travel because they misunderstand what your trying to do. If you really want to raise money for Chino's cause, just spread the word and get more singles and couples to break out that money! I'm not gonna say anything else about this thread, because I fear it's a powder keg getting ready to explode I fear
By you accounts Al your painting all singles with the same brush. As far as I know cancuncare has no affiliation with TTR and anyone can book into the hotel at anytime.
