Hey, we originally booked a 2 wk holiday to stay at TTR in december but are thinking about changing the date to 2 wks in april....probably 18th april departure as it's our anniversary on 20th. The thing is, I just had a look on the official website and it mentions an event called singles week vol 1, we don't have anything against going when singles are there but is it going to be totally full of single people just wanting to pull, or will there also be couples that we can chat to and have a laugh with as well? I wouldn't worry too much about it. There will be couples there also. We went on "reunion week" last May and I was worried that everyone would know each other and there would be all sorts of things we would not be able to participate in certain events because we would not be "used" to them. Turns out that there was nothing different than a regular week. Don't worry about it. Go and have fun. Just be prepared to hang out in the bar/pool with singles as well as couples. ~GIRL
Cool, thanks for that. No we don't care who we hang out with as long as they like a drink and abit of a laugh, which I'm sure everyone at TTR does :lol:
Re: Singles Week April 2010...but we r a couple ( Any advi Wouldn't worry about singles week at all as you'll probably won't notice any change. Singles week is usually in the middle of ours every year and we've never had any probs. We'll be there again Apr. 15th thru the 23rd, 2010!! :flash: See ya there!
Couldn't get the holiday for that week in the end anyway so booked for 25th April for 2 weeks, 8 long months, hopefully won't take too long to come around, I need a holiday now
Hi guys, we've just returned and there was a lot of singles there over the past 2 weeks. Most were tidy but some were on a pussy hunt and made it clear they were willing to take on couples. If they could have couple only weeks that would be great but they have to ensure the place is full so it will never happen.
Lucky u for going in September and in April Next year maybe we will do 2 trips. We were meant to go in December originally but heard April/May would be busier, better weather and more fun plus its our wedding anniversary so makes more sense....really can't wait, am loving the pics & reviews on here, getting me in holiday mood big time!
