Just read a forum post about TTR becoming over-run with single guys "behaving badly" due to overbooking.....Our first visit TTR was also over booked..... Wondering if this is becoming a more prominent problem both the overbooking and the influx of singles at the resort???... We will be visiting Feb 9-16....Packing already!!!
I think the "singles behaving badly" issue is mostly a non-issue. Even if the resort has a little higher ratio of singles when a few couples are sent to Desire, TTR is still overwhelmingly couples dominated. It's not anything I'd be concerned about. If you go with a good attitude and know how to act, you'll have a great time. If you're a guy with a jealous streak, you'll have issues anywhere you go.
LOL....funny we decided to come back to TTR this year as we went with our open minds last year to an adults only resort and thru no fault of our own were "lifestyle-bashed".... Never had any issues at TTR.....I'm sure it will be a great time!!!
We travel back to TTR time and again for the good times! We're approached by singles, lifestylers, older folks (and we're 50+), youngsters, and people from around the world all looking to have a good time and share a laugh....that's why we keep coming back! Here's to hoping your upcoming visit is a fun as your first...looking forward to sharing a toast as our next visit overlaps yours in Feb...cheers!
We've been talking about both of these for the last 12 years No more an issue now than it has ever been. Especially at Christmas time you will find a larger influx of younger singles and older couples, because many of us 'middle aged' couples have family commitments at Christmas time and cant really get away. Once the New Year is in things will be back to normal.
I like the singles. Glenn and I always seem to have a great time partying with couples and singles. It's a non issue for me. There are assholes everywhere. TTR is no exception and yep occasionally I put them in their place too. This topic gets old. If your secure in your relationship then no big deal. The place is not over run with singles.
We also like the single guys and up until now we've only had good experiences with them, in fact the only kind of bad experience we've had (and it wasn't really that bad) was with a married guy whose wife went to bed early and he stayed in the patyo. That said, our only concern with single guys is that sonetime soon we bump into one of our son's friends there since they're approching their 18's.
