Hey everyone, I'm a 26 year old guy looking to spend a week in cancun around late may to june (havent set any dates yet)
I went last year and ended up hitting the final week of american spring break, (it was basically a year ago last week) and was at the oasis, which was a blast.
I'm just worried as i've heard a lot of people advising me to stay away from oasis if its not spring break.
Where is going to be a good fun resort for a single guy traveling alone in around that time?
    any help is greatly appreciated!

While the Casa Turquesa is a beautiful resort, it does not sound like it would be appropriate for what you are looking for....

In my opinion, you are going at a time when there will be less young people in Cancun who are in their 20s and 30s, in comparison when you were there last. However this does not mean that there will not be any there. A few All Inclusive resorts that you should consider where you are more likely to find a good mix of people include:
    Riu Cancun
    Avalon Grand
    ME By Melia
    Barcelo Tucancun
    Gran Melia

I enjoy traveling to Cancun, mostly for the culinary offerings. There are literally hundreds of restaurants, in all price ranges and cuisine types. I find that the cuisine at the AI resorts is not really that fantastic, unless you are prepared to pay top dollar to stay at an upscale resort. Unless you are a big drinker, you may also find it to be more cost effective if you stay at a European Plan resort, and pay for food and drinks as you want them, again, not to mention the quality will be higher. A few good resorts to consider where you will find a decent mix of people include:
    Hilton Golf & Spa Resort
Marriott CasaMagna-the J.W. Marriott is the higher end sister property located next door.
Flamingo Resort-older property but good for a people mix and location.
Hyatt Regency-great location at Punta Cancun, within walking distance of most of the nightclubs.
Krystal-offers both AI and EP, in walking distance of the nightclubs.
Gran Melia-this resort offers a European Plan, where guests may add on the All inclusive during the morning of the day(s) that they Desire to have the option.
