loved temptations cancun....have researched cabo and just not interested, mainly because of the 20 mile bus ride to nightlife.... are there any other resorts (anywhere in the caribbean) similar to temptations? a lot of adults only seem like they would be boring...i like temptations adult themes without being a swingers resort....thanks
It is kind of the elusive holy grail for people who want to stay in a place with a similar atmosphere. I really think it is unique in the resort biz. That being said if I ever win the lottery I know what kind of hotel I would start up.
yup, Id have to agree, dont really think there is another place like it. Temptations just seems to have masterd the recipe for fun and entertainment, with out going over board
mainly asking because we want to explore other places.....but dont want to be disappointed and wish we would have went back to temptations cancun
Thats the dilema I went through for years and years, Ive always wanted to go see other parts of the world, costa rica, australia etc etc... but I would hate if it wasnt as much fun as Cancun and Temptations, Since I only get one big vacation a year, to waste it on a place that is not fun, would bug the heck out of me, so for the last few years, I havent taken that risk....be back in Cancun in April.
We have been trying out lots of other resort the last few years and have not found any resorts that have this complete package to them.

I have to agree, when I tell people we are going back for our 5th time to the same resort they don't understand.. my feelings are why not go to a place that is wonderful, I know what to expect, where everything is and I know that I'm going to have a great time... so much so that we keep going back. Why would we want to spend our hard earned money and go somewhere that isn't the same and end up wishing we were back at temptations. And we still haven't seen and done everything that Cancun has to offer. So we find there is always somthing new to do and new experiences. So if the day ever comes that I've done everything that Temptations and Cancun has to offer maybe then I will think of going else where... but really don't think that will happen for a very long time.. Plus now that we are hooked on this forum...people, I can't wait to meet the people that are on this site.. what we are finding difficult is finding the funds and time off work to get down there everytime is sounds like a great group is going down...:xyxthumbs: Hey sorry about this... didn't answer your question.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The other thing I noticed I did last year was that when someone asked me when I got to the resort I replied with..."I got home last Saturday." Say what?!?!? It just slipped out...I called the resort home. LOL D
