Sidestep.com..........Best site to book Temptations

This website by far beats all the others as to rates for Temptations. If you are planning on going try this site out. I got my wife and I a room at 99 bucks a night that is for both of us tax and all. CANT BEAT THAT!!!!!!!!

 

I just checked our dates and the prices on two of the sites are nearly half of what we are currently booked at.

Has anyone actually used these sites before? gtahhotels.com skoosh.com

Is it possible that it is a scam?

I understand lower rates, say by 10 to 20% but 40 -45% less? How is that possible?

You know what they say about things that are too good to be true . . . LOL . . .

Comments anyone?

 

I usually always book with sidestep and have never had a problem. I just make sure I take all paperwork with me. If you look for my dates it is about 50 bucks cheaper than on temptations website per day so I am sure it is legit

 

skyauction.com is not bad. We won auction for 2 at $6 per person per night. They also charge $49 per person per night in fees and taxes. It comes out to $110 for the room per night. When you win, you let them know what dates you want to go and they confirm. I asked for second week of December because flights were pretty cheap at that time. Got those 6 nights confirmed no problem. Another thread asks about singles - with skyauction it would have been the $55 plus a daily single charge of $35 so $90 per night. Right now they say that they have available dates through 12/25.

 

I just checked out sidestep.com and the two lowest sites it brought up (skoosh and gtahotels) and when I went to the actual site from the link on sidestep I looked and tho I put specifically into sidesteps browser that I had two adults it changed on the selling website to only one adult. The price doubled once I added the other adult. So watch carefully if booking through them or when you get down there you may have a big surprise! :shock:

(good thing I was only daydreaming cause with the original prices quoted through sidestep if I would have made a quick descion if I was actualy booking.)

 

I know this happens. I did make sure it was for 2 adults and I actually called the company I am going thru to confirm it was for adults

We used skoosh this past summer. When we arrived at Temptations, the reservation they had on file was for only one adult. Fortunately, all of my paperwork was for 2 and temptations honored it. I would use caution with these sites and make sure your documents are for exactly what you purchased!

 

We booked with skoosh for our labor day trip with no problems at all. They were by far the best deal out there.

So I took my newly found info to apple vacations to see if they would price match. They told me they don't price match with European internet based companies such as skoosh and gtahotels.

Further research has revealed that these companies may offer great rates but clearly don't offer the level of customer service that apple, bookit, funjet, etc would if you are having a problem at your hotel as they don't have on site people and are not tour operators.

That all being said, I think its a risk I'd be willing to take next time to get a significantly cheaper rate. Thanks for the info.

Your Def. welcome man. Did apple help you out and give you a little lower rate?
