So we got a pretty good deal booking through skoosh as outlined by someone on here. My concern is all you get is a voucher to give the hotel. Should we call the hotel to celebrate confirm? I'm hoping someone else has used them with success. Cheers, D&J
I don't think you should be concerned. Skoosh are a UK company and everyone trusts the Brits! Here's some info about them from their own page: Skoosh - About Us I don't understand the concerns about "only getting a voucher"? Isnt that what all companies provide? I've stayed in quite a few hotels the last few years and don't remember getting anything else other than an emailed voucher, and nine times out of ten I haven't needed it since my name would already be in the reservation system and I'd just provide proof of id.
From the hotel directly, if you booked via a third party? I have only ever got a confirmation from the company I book through, e.g if you booked through Expedia you'd get a voucher from them rather than from the hotel.
We have used skoosh successfully in the past. No issue with the voucher process. They did ask to see it at check in so just be sure you bring it along.
I used them to book for August, When I called the hotel after I booked the hotel confimed my booking.
I have used Skoosh the last 3 times we've been to TTR and used them in Feb. for GP along with assorted other hotels. Never had a problem. I always call to confirm with the resort a few days ahead just to be safe. Have never had to show the voucher when I check in because the reservation is already in their system but I do have a copy of it with me just in case. I also like their pay later option rather than pay when you book.
