Got back two days ago....had fun...it wasn't as fun as it was last august though. In nuthshell here are pros and cons: Pros: (1) You can walk into Asian, Italian and Seafood place without making a reservation. (2) Bar service is great. Don't expect tip from you, still great service. (3) People are wild and fun as always. Cons: (1) More, Way more men than women. When I say more men than women, I meant single men than single women. (2) Overall less people than last year. (3) No beach volleyball, not enough people. (4) Not that many day time activies. People hang by sexy pool afternoon but no day time activities except they have some activities before noon and we always went by sexy pool afternoon. Tip: If you are going to party and want to hook up with single chicks, then go to some other resort. Most chicks I met at clubs were from other resorts. As this resort is always fun place but I saw more single dudes than gals this time. Here is an example, we went to party bus to CocoBongo and entire party bus was full....But, no single gals...over half of the crowd was single men and married couples. Anyways, it was fun trip.
Heard from a few people there at the moment that once again the English lads arriving in groups 10-15 strong (closed football season) are not doing the single M:F ratios any favours. Nor are they making many friends with their behaviour. :roll:
That was our experience the last week of June. There were a few large groups of young single british guys that would get trashed and chant soccer songs all day by the pool. And All I heard from them was how there wasn't any single chick action at the pool. THEY WERE SCARING THEM ALL OFF!
That's right, last day we left, there were another 10 english dudes arrived in a group...excuse my language, but they are typical cockblockers....anyways, we still got what we were looking for
Actually, I was there the last week in June and if it hadn't been for a group of guys from Manchester on the club bus and the waiters in the restaurant my last night I wouldn't have had any resort-based sexy fun at all. You say there were too many single guys but in my case, there were too many really young single guys who were apparently too shy or not interested in an "older woman". I tried to start conversations with the entertainment crew several times when I saw one but they never talked to me more than the basic Hi and continued walking even though I was always by myself. I've had hotter times staying in a regular hotel in South Beach and it costs a lot less. I think this resort is best for couples. Disappointing!!
Resort is best for couples but clubs in Cancun are always fun time. Clubs like CocoBongo and City you can't find in US not even in Miami. Plus variety of chicks from all over the world, can't see that in US either.
