Shopping near resort?

I haven't shopped in Cancun in years. Does anyone know if the malls or Market 28 are open on Sunday evenings, after 4 or 5 pm?
I'm meeting a:flagcanada: friend for some shopping and don't want to waste a sun/fun filled afternoon of my short visit!:aktion061:

I will try to find out... i always do walmart on my first morning about 8am before the sun comes out lol..
