I have been reading through the posts and noticed a couple of ones that mentioned slick floors (maybe during foam night?? not sure) Are heels going to be a hazard or am I once again worrying about something for nothing? I'm only 5'2 and wanted to pack all the height I could!!:icon_razz:

The walkways, not just the dance floor are slippery - its humid, lots of pool water from wet swim-suits and the cleaning crews hosing em down.

You will see a lot of folks with bruises from slips - steps into the sexy pool by the bar are super dangerous. Concrete & tile around the pool and bathrooms are super slick.

"Breezesfan" had a vacation cut short as his wife broker her wrist on a nasty slip on day 1.

Be careful - but yes, wear whatever you like just be cautious.

Our first year my wife brought many high heels she is 5'0' she would wear them for awhile then switch to flip flops ,,, this now being our 6th year she brings strictly flip flops. The floor does tend to get slippery, our thought is why risk it. If heels are your thing then by all means bring them, remember be comfortable and have a good time!!

I'm bringing mostly wedges and shoes that have rubbery bottoms. But I tend to stick with that anyway, again, because as I mentioned in the panties post, I like my drop-it low stripper dance moves lol

If you wear heels regularly, you'll be okay. Just hold on to someone while you're navigating the ramps from your room to PatyOs. If you don't usually wear heels, though, I'd definitely say TTR isn't for amateurs! Lots of slippery floors, ramps, and stairs.

I always bring my heals but my feet always get so swollen and sore! Not sure why as my husband tries to keep them up and behind my head as much as possible! ;)

I usually wear my highest heels for dinner, slightly lower ones when dancing begins, and as the night progresses I am found in sandals.

I wear heels a lot at home but rarely as high as I do at TTR. I do prefer a wide heel as opposed to a stiletto strictly for dancing purposes. We short girls have to at least try to show off the legs!

Always sporting the heels w/ never an issue on the slippery flooring at TTR; as long as you are careful you'll be fine. Albeit, I'd advise against wearing heels (wedges to be exact) on the sand lol - had a mishap which resulted in a broken ankle, dislocated and ruptured ligament that got me surgery in Mexico. Yup, dumb-ass here :aktion060: but at least it happened day 11 of our 14 day vacation. Needing a do-over" - 111 days - cannot wait and the heels will be packed without question lol ... just going to keep off sand!!!!!

I'm sure whatever you decide on you will look/feel hot and you guys will have a wicked vacation!! :headbanger:

    Cheers, :ernaehrung015:
