Anyone had good experiences with shoe repair, Cancun Centro? I have a pair of shoes I wear to work that are in good condition but, when it rained heavily about a week ago, I stupidly walked through deep water in them, and some of the glue that holds the sole on let go.
Hi V, You can try the Hakky Shoe Repair in the Mega Commercial Mexicano on Kabah (the same plaza where Costco is). They are next to the Subway sandwich shop. I think there might ne another Hakky inside of the "tourist" Walmart too.
V, I use the guy at the Soriana at the corner of Kabah and AQR. If you head toward the left side entrance, they are on the left just before you enter the building. I have used them for several years with zero problems. Fast service and reasonable prices. They have repaired more than shoes for me.
I had to pick one so, for convenience, I chose to try the one at the Outlet Mall, next to the entrance at Soriana. It's an amazingly big and busy operation, not a one man show, at all. They had a menu of prices for services, fixed to the wall, and that's what I was changed. They produced the work when they said they would, and I was satisfied with both the work and the price. I've used them twice, since.
