Well, this trade had been brewing for the past few days and finally went through.....what are your thoughts on it?

    Phoenix gets:
    Shaquille O'Neal

    Miami gets:
    Shawn Marion
    Marcus Banks

my only reaction is.......WHAT THE HELL ARE THE SUNS THINKING?!?!?!

exactly, hes missed about half of this season already, and Marion is one of the best in the game....averaging 16 ppg and 10 rebounds per game......just really doesnt make sense to me

It took me a while, but I finally understood how and why they could get their in such a state to want Shaq so Bad.

He's the only answer for Tim Duncam, and Dirk Nowitzki. And Between the 2 they are the ONLY reason that Phoenix wont get to the Finals. The way they see it, they can beat everyone else without Shaq, and Use shaq in the Playoffs. Hell I dont even think they need Shaq in the Finals. Just the western Conference.

Was this a gamble? HELL YEAH!! Big ass gamble. But whats funny is, I think Shaq took Last year off. I think Shaq has 2 more years left in him, just not full season. dont see him playing at full potential, until the near end of the regular season. I think If he plays like this for the next 2 years, he can be very powerful. You cant play him full season, he a vet, forget his brittle bones, he does'nt even WANT to play full season. Dont get him banged up. Just place him in at the end, and you'll see one of the best centers to ever play the game, revitalize.

Hey Im not saying he WILL pull it off. He does'nt match their Run game...yet...he DID keep up with Kobe, and Dwayne,...I think its POSSIBLe that this works. The man damn near singlehandedly brought a title to Miami. And its so funny, because everyone was saying how stupid LA was to trade him....so what has changed since then?
