I know there was some interest in this and just saw this article: Empezará venta de boletos para concierto de Shakira en Cancún - Cancún 1.- Basically tickets go on sale June 6 for the July 15 concert of Shakira at the Moon Palace. 2.- Tickets on sale through Ticketmaster and its distributors Mix Up, Gandhi bookstores and Farmacias del Ahorro; and in Playa del Carmen in Playa Mamita's. 3.- Ticket prices are from $800-$4,500 pesos. 4.- They expect 20,000 people and have reserved 10,000 tickets for locals.
Worst concert I have ever been to, an absolute waste of money. I will definitely never attend another Moon Palace event. From the organization to the seating, to the show itself, to trying to leave, it was all crap.

I have seen an online movement for refunds. To be fair to Shakira and the full moon, they say the singing and the ambience were great but the organization sucked. Waiting 3 hours to get out of the parking lot, people who paid almost $1,000 dollars having to watch on the big screens and everyone standing on their chairs to see....the story ain't over yet. Hope it goes better tonight in Merida.
Friends that went had an awful experience (though, as mentioned, Shakira rocked). One friend and his wife ended up walking more than 5km on the highway (she in high heels of course), and that is but one story. I also heard that Chapur got physically beat up at the show. :blueshock:
