We just got an email letting us know our flight times changed. We were supposed to get to cancun at noon on Nov 7, now not till 3pm. We figure by the time we get into our room it'll be 5pm, and we'll most likely want to eat. When does the sexy pool close? We're kinda bummed that we'll be missing most of the party Saturday. Where does everyone hang out between dinner time and the party at bash?
Closing time depends on the time of year by an hour or two. Usually when it gets dark, so probably either 6 or 7 at the moment. If it were me arriving at 5pm I'd drop my bags with the bellboy, head to the pool or bar for the last hour or two, and go to the room later. Not sure there is anywhere to eat at 5pm, kind of too early for dinner and too late for lunch. Maybe grab a snack from the coffee bar - they have sandwiches and wraps etc. But I will defer to those who do eat since I always forget. After the sexy pool closes, the usual options are the hot tub, the lobby bar or back to your room for a power nap and then get ready for dinner. If you are really famished call rooms service
Thanks for the tips Steve. We're trying to have our travel agent arrange an earlier flight, but if not we'll pack swimsuits in our carry on so we can hit the pool right away
I always pack a swimsuit and one outfit in my carry on - you never know if the airlines will get all of your things there. I’d hate to arrive and not be able to join the party! She Bop
We just returned from TTR Thursday. Security closed the pool and hot tub at 7pm. Caffeine (coffee bar) is your best bet for a snack pre-dinner. Their offerings look and taste great !!!
The pool in Feb closes around 6 pm , then everyone goes to the Hot tube for a bit then to the rooms to rest before dinner and the party at Bash...
