yummy it is a special coffee that they make in the italian restaurant, the make it at your table set fire to it.. it tastes great.. not sure what liquers they use ..
KAHLUA IS IN IT ALSO BRANDY AND A SAMBUCA TYPE DRINK THEY ALSO MAKE IT IN THE ASIAN WOK ASK FOR MANNY HE'S THE BEST SERVER!!
It's just the after-dinner (e.g. Spanish) Coffee. I saw it made (at nearby tables) at both the Italian and Asian restaurants... the waiter rolls out a cart and constructs the coffees beside your table. Involves elaborate pouring to flaming alcohol and colourful burning of spices. Juan, a waiter at the Asian restaurant, did a damn impressive presentation. Much longer and more skillful than the waiter at the Italian restaurant.
Juan (a different one) from the Italian restaurant gave a great show. After they lowered the lights in the restaurant, he and another waiter made the coffee. He swears he had hair before he learned how to make it right He also makes great Carpaccio!
Here's a picture of our favourite waiter, Juan, making a sexy coffee...poor guy, I had my camera set to take continuous pics and I just kept holding down the button, so he kept pouring...Scott had to finally tell me that Juan was burning his fingers. He was such a good sport about it, though...he was laughing afterward. They use a Mexican Liqueur called D'Aristi...it's a honey and licorice liqueur (we have a bottle that we bought there), along with brandy and Kahlua as previously posted, then they top it with whipped cream and cinnamon...it's very good, but very sweet!!!
