So we're making our 3rd trip to TTR in October (10/22 - 4/11) and wondered if Steve still does the Boobs Cruise throughout these months, also, I have some questions as personally, due to me being violently sea sick the once we did go on a boat, ive been put off... 1) How is it for someone who suffers with motion sickness? I was told that as the boat is bigger, you don't feel it as much hence doesnt affect you as bad 2) If we were to consider taking one, is there any medication I could take to help or stop the motion sickness? 3) We're gay and My Wife and I arent in the Lifestyle, we have friends that are, and quite enjoy hanging our with LS and Non-LS couples alike, we do however like to have fun, and have gotten kinda wild in the Sexy Pool in previous years with friends we've made etc, so my question is...Is this cruise for us? Thank you in advance my lovely TTR family! :aktion033:
I use just a general seasickness tablet from the chemist and also ginger is meant to be good for travel sickness, dont want to put you off, but its better that going on and being sick as a dog, but, you will feel some motion, even if its calm it would be very slight though, if you think, even on a ferry you feel motion when its calm. To be honest though, armed with tablets (sturgeon 15 I think I use) and ginger, you shouldn't be too bad, just look at the horizon. Those bracelets are meant to work but never tried them.
Oh and sorry, I would probably take a tablet the day before then one on the morning of the Boobs Cruise
I suffer from awful motion sickness just in a moving car! I take Bonine (meclizine) and have zero issues! I can ride roller coasters, fly, go on a boat and all when I take it! I stay away from dramamine cause even the less drowsy formula makes me feel sleepy! You will have a blast on the Boobs Cruise! We had so much fun, can't wait to go again! I think Steve picks the cruise dates based on the roll calls for each month, so if there are quite a few people going to be there the same week as you, then there will more than likely be a cruise
I also take Bonine every time I go deep sea fishing and have not had a problem since I started taking it. Went on the BC on 4/29 and we had the big boat and it was a little rough out on the water but because of the size of the boat it did not feel like we were bouncing around at all.
also, maybe drink a lot before you get on the boat, that way you will be swaying already, so it could counteract the boat sway. We have just come of a cruise and I had terrible mal de debarquement for about a week after, never had it before and this was our fifth cruise, far worse than seasickness.
Different things work for different people. Meclizine works best for me too, but that's what the non drowsy formula of Dramamine has in it. Actually, regular Dramamine works best, but I may as well stay home because it knocks me out! There's nothing worse than being seasick and not being able to get to shore. If it's that bad, you may just not want to take a chance.
