I've seen the Temptation theme nights but what about CCC theme nights for September? 9-16 is us, say hello if you see us!
Tracy and myself was think the same thing but we are there from the 17th-27th, a thread for the full month for the ccc theme nights would be great times ticking and will only get quicker
Here is the resorts theme night schedule - no doubt the month will get split up into groups as we go forward but let's start tossing in theme night twist! Kindly keep YOUR suggestions tied to the dates that YOU are going to be there - we definitely want to see all the suggestions but you don't like a suggestion that's made that doesn't overlap your dates then no one needs to know that you don't like it. That said we're most sad about the lack of a school girl night - hoping a consensus can be made to incorporate that somewhere between the 6th & 13th. I might also note that a many school girl outfits are red, green and white - exactly what mexfest calls for. Let's have some fun ya'll!! Does anyone ever go off of the resort to party, or is it generally a confluence of everyone in the same on-site nightclub every evening?
Sometimes people will organize a trip to Coco Bongo. The resort used to (maybe still will) have a night or two a week that they organize it. You are still responsible to purchase the trip on your own (meaning you don't pay TTR). It's good to go with the hotel group, cause then you can stick together and also organize group transportation. Also, I have seen coco bongo staff come to the foam party to advertise and try to get a group together. Most of the time in my experience you will find everyone just stays on-site...aside from leaving for the Boobs Cruise. On my last trip I walked in the front door day 1, and the next time I crossed the threshold again was 8 days later on my way home. But this is just mean and I have been to Cancun many times, so I don't really feel the need to venture out, and I know what I am there for.
Gotcha. I know most folks on here are seasoned vets of TTR, and they know exactly what they like, what they expect, and what they intend to do. I have been to Mexico a few times but never to Cancun specifically. When I travel, I like to get a taste of some of the local flair and interact with the countries' residents. Personally, I get tired of looking at the same folks all week. LOL.
A day trip to Isla will probably get you more of that local flair then going clubbing. (most people recommend just independently taking the ferry, and then just walking or taking a golf cart around. I just did a trip and we found a guy offering a guided boat tour with some snorkeling and stops on the island. It was only like $25 a person). A good think about TTR though is that people come and go all week, so you aren't always with the same group. There are some hotels where you see one or two main check-in and check-out days per week. At TTR you see more of a constant rotation.
