Just got off the phone with RCI about our reservation in September and we were informed that our week is now the last week they can book with TTR. They said they have been in contact with the resort and they have not canceled our reservation. Now we wonder just how full the place will be or will it be a ghost town? I guess we won't have to worry about Chair Hogs! CP
If I were you, I'd schedule a backup reservation in the meantime just to be safe. All of the Octoberbreasters are planning on saddling up at the GP for the most part, so if I were you, I'd reserve a room there to ensure that I was not stranded.
I looked at the daily rate for GP and it is twice as much as TTR, I heard from a platinum member who has the same week, who was told by premier they could check in on the 24th but they would be moved to another location or have change their reservation. So still don't have the word. RCI says they have to be informed of possible issues with they clients and since they were not informed about anything happening about our week we are good. I just have keep bugging them ever couple of weeks CP
I would go through bookit.com and check rates there instead of main website. We were able to get pretty much the same rates for GP as TTR.
