WE've always one the package deal online, but I just found realy good deal for later on in e year....hotel only. fare res are crazy high right now. Just curious how many people do the "package" (hotl/flight) as opposed as booking them separate??
I use the build your own package or flight +hotel,, TTR does not seem to have last minute deals as packages. play with departure days and often you can get extra nights for the same priced as the package. sometimes you have to switch planes but for an extra day its worth it Expedia has been a popular sight in the past Cheaptickets , and Selloff vacations
Looks like we booking seperately its Cheaper then packages. Alpharooms for hotel and direct flights. packages mostly have connecting flights Which Totally Sucks!!!! Might be abit Cheaper but Totally not worth the trouble
And for us in our location it's best to do packages, and with them we get direct flights. We're limited to October-April for dates, but we go in March anyways. D
Ive used Cheaptickets about 6 or 7 times for package deals, as they have always been cheapest. But Im looking at the hotel only for July, right now with a promo code at TTR for......wait for it.................................$160 a night!
We have always booked package deals in the past but got a better rate this year by splitting it up. Were also able to be more flexible with our dates and extend the trip by a few days.
For us if we do any all inclusive 'tropical' destination it's has always been easier to use a package deal during the Feb-April rush...that way we get direct flights. With that being said we've never found a place that we wanted to go to at another time of year...until now. We are currently looking at a trip in the first two weeks of October. I'm shopping around. We need to fly out of our home town this time which makes for ugly flights since our home airport only flys to 4 other Canadian locations.
