We went on the speed boat and snorkeling it was right down the way from the resort really cool and wasn't that too bad for the money. Always go to the Isles Mujers every trip.
the speed boat snorkeling was very cool ..gives you a chance to take some g rated pics for family . It only takes up half the day so you are back in time for the party Chichen Itza takes all day .. we did it one year got back around 7 or 8 at night .. it was great got to swim in the cenote .. won't do it again but it was good to go learned a bit ..and got some really good pictures we are going to try to do Boobs Cruise this year ..and maybe take the ferry over to the Island just to wonder around with friends we did the Boobs Cruise one year but were so hungover the first part was a bit bad lol if you just want to take some time ..TTR has a little boat , or a paddle board and i think a canoe you can take out for a bit some people just do a walk around the beach or down the road from the resort
