Steve, the administrator, can chime in but I suspect you probably don't have enough posts. To safeguard the existing members from spam, the administrator usually requires a few legitimate postings to be made before all your message board privileges are opened up. I believe the key number is 5 postings, but not 100% certain as the rule is relatively new and wasn't active when I was a new member.
Same happened to me. I was using my mobile app and my messages were not going through. I logged in to my PC then deleted my old messages. All cleared up. Hope that helps. Neil
