I was just wondering, so I did a youtube search as I sit here in my home office pathetically reading old trip reports and watching the second-hand swirl around. Still 17 days to go though, so seconds don't matter much. Did a search for "Temptation," and got a bunch of stuff back by a band called "Within Temptation," so nothing there, then a lot about the older R&B band, The Temptations, and that ain't it either. That was the Miss Iron Woman Competition. It is crazy to see how they do everything exactly the same all the time. Kristin won Miss Iron Woman the week we were there in May in the exact same fashion.
Ever been to Broadway? Formulaic is the thing. Makes you respect it even more when you see how it is the same-old/same-old every damn time, each week. But, For US, it's all Sexy, Super-Fun, New, Shiny, etc. They do us an awesome job, and we "Should" appreciate it and tip them appropriately. Just pointing it out, what the average American spends on Starbucks Tips a year could send one of these Mexican kids to college.
