So I take from reading posts that the security is hit and miss on enforcing clothes being on at night parties and pool times. Is this correct? Would love to hear from those that have been.
From what I've seen, my take is this: If it's easily obvious to anyone nearby that you're breaking a rule, security has no choice but to do their job and enforce the rules. If you're in the pool being relatively quiet or otherwise keeping to yourselves, they tend to be less strict. Individual security guards seem to each have their own threshold of tolerence too. Just be polite and respectful to them and sometimes they'll just ask you to keep the noise down.
I would agree with this 100%. When we were there last week the first few nights security was obnoxious in the sports pool. They would constantly shine lights to make sure everyone had bottoms on. The crazy thing though - I'm pretty sure people were having sex in the corner of the pool with bottoms on, but they didn't care. You just had to make sure you had bottoms on. The last few nights we were there and security didn't care if you went in the pool naked. This is only for the sports pool. Most other places security stays about the same. Paty'O you need to have your nipples covered and wear some sort of bottoms. You can't get naked in the sexy pool unless it's during a game and then it's encouraged.
Just remember that beaches are public property and sex is not permitted, while topless is tolerated near the resort. Sometimes security will enforce TTR rules within the resort and have to be more strict when you are on the beach. Discretion is key if you truly want to get away with it. Many times we see people getting shut down because they are trying to put on a show - extroverts ! TRR is full of them so security sometimes is busy keeping people close to the rules We have done topless at the beach just in font if the resort and didn't flaunt it to people walking by. If you take it further or try and fool around sexually at the beach they will shut you down if it is obvious. Have fun and go for as much as you like to dare. Just don't be surprised if you get shut down when people can easily see more than topless nudity or if there is too much sexual play for security to ignore.
When we there 7-17 to 7-23 at least 20 of us naked every night. It helps if you get undressed once you are in the pool.
From what we saw last year, they didn't say anything to women who didn't draw attention. I did see them shut down 2 women in the sexy pool for taking their bottoms off and putting on a show. We didn't mind the show, but if you are going to draw a crowd, expect to be shut down.
discretion We noticed security paying close attention to my wife (but she tends to get loud when she is drunk and naked). We also noticed the vast inconsistencies of what they cared about and didn't care about on any given day. As for the beach, she went topless down to/on/and from the jetskis, and no one gave her any grief.
Be polite, respectful, and do what you need to do and nobody will care! You can go topless on the beach! They can't say nothing!! Sex in public area are prohibited ! Can't wait to see you APrIl addict 2014 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is what I've been telling folks for years... People have bitched about Security shutting them down for kissing in public while we've been doing jello nipple shots 10 feet away at the bar. If you think about it, TTR is a powder keg of booze and sex and if it were to get out of control it could turn into a riot situation real quick as guys have to begin to defend their ladies. So Security can let the pot simmer a bit but if it begins to boil they need to turn down the heat. And if it continues to boil then they become more insistant on cooling it down up to and including to the point of following crowds around to make sure they don't even get started. If you help them control the amount of bubbles being formed, they will let you simmer till you're done. Jamie
