Security...for guest safety or to censor guest fun?

We just returned from our 10th trip to Temptation. We had a great time as usual, we love it there. We did notice a major increase in security this trip, there has always been security present at the resort but this was overwhelming. The rumors around the resort for the increased security were a 42 guy bachelor party from England had gotten out of control and that the April Addicts were also out of control. The “why” or "who" is not the issue. Please do not let the bad behavior of past groups affect your current guest’s ability to enjoy the Temptation experience. We appreciate the security and they should be there for the safety of TTR guests. The problem we have is they are taking their jobs a little too far.

We go to TTR for the sexy atmosphere and “innovative concept.” As the TTR web site puts it “a hip vibe is the hallmark of this beachfront, topless optional hotel where the vibrating, sexy and adults only atmosphere gets you totally invigorated and relaxed. Temptation’s cast members will lead the charge each day with fun, sexy and adventurous activities that range from water, beach sports and pool games to tempting contests that will warm even the iciest participants. In our topless optional ambiance, guests can choose whether to engage in the excitement or just stay away from the crowds and enjoy romantic moments in the jacuzzi of the quiet pool. With adults only oriented shows and games, our professional nightly entertainment will dare you not to be tempted.

So why does it seem that the security guards are there to CENSOR the guests not insure their safety? We always meet a group of friends at TTR and just want to have a great time. In the past our friends have brought out the alcohol infused whipped cream, we always have willing participants that want to join into the fun. The whipped cream is only placed on “appropriate for the pool” body parts, boobs, thighs, belly, neck and mouth. We are not putting it on penises or va-jay-jay’s there is no “sex” (intercourse or oral sex) happening at the pool! We do follow the rules of no sex in public. The security guards stopped this activity whenever it got started, they should just stand back and observe if all participants are willing and having a good time nothing should be said by security. There was also a day that one of the “owners” was in the pool demonstrating a sex toy, it was not being put in anybody so once again “no sex”. She had a crowd that was interested in what she was telling us about the toy, and once again security was there to CENSOR us. If a couple of girls want to get up and dance by the pool when the DJ is playing, watch out here comes security to put a stop to it. We hang out at the "sexy pool" for a reason, if we didn't want the risqué atmosphere we would hang out at the quiet pool. Security has made it feel like your parents have come on vacation with you.

There is one particular security guard “Junun”, aka the short guy that thinks he looks like “The Rock”, that seems to have an issue with the guests, not only with us but some of the other guests we spoke to. He was very rude every time we encountered him and any time we started to enjoy ourselves he was right there to stop it. He seems to think his job is to CENSOR the guests not insure their safety. Other things we heard about “Junun” were that he threatened a guest, blackmailed a guest and tried to sell a guest drugs. He seems to be looking for a confrontation with guest’s and then threatens to have them taken to jail. We are planning our October trip and hope that he will no longer be working at the resort.

If security keeps censoring the guests and not just insuring their safety the concept of “Temptation” will be lost and so will some of your return guests. Why do you think we vacation at TTR twice a year and you have so many return guests that are not owners?

P.S. – All guests planning on bringing alcohol infused whipped cream don’t bother unless you plan on only using it in the comfort of a room!

Anybody else frustrated with the increased security or censorship please share your experience.

 

I must say, unless the April group in front of ours was like woodstock on steroids, it wasnt the April Addicts Group .. We were attempting all the things that you have mentioned that you guys were trying, more then willing participants, a fun group. But security was all over us in seconds about whip cream, girls kissing, Just hanging around like high school dance chaperones, making sure the students werent kissing by the bleachers, it was a bit annoying at times, luckily within our group there were a few that have been many times and know employees and management and were able to complain about security enough times to get a few things changed for a few hours before they would change it back... I think we April Guys and Gals will agree with you on the security 100 percent, just not who they say the culprets were lol

 

hmmmm, well I am an April addict and have to say that i feel insulted that you put us in the same category as the 42 single guys and ruining the Temptation vibe by getting out of hand..
I can tell you that this was not the case... we were the first group after the 45 singles that encountered the high security, not that we got out of hand by any means.. we had way more issues with security than you did and it wasn't because any of us were out of hand.. it was in fact a direct result of the big group of guys. several of the so called out of hand April Addicts spoke to management and had the security back off a bit and they did ..if the who or the why isn't the issue than why mention it?

 

Security sucked in April. From the stories that more than a few bartenders told us about the group of 42. There were fights in behind the front desk, at the bars and some guest were hurt by this group. One girl had a few ribs broken. These guys were totally out of control and so for those reasons i don't blame them for upping security. They mostly just stopped people from doing body shots, getting naked, and well fighting. It never wrecked my fun in any way. Just not fair to blame April addicts cause as a group we had fun, and really didn't cause any problems. I personally don't care if I can do body shots. I go there for way more, and body shots well it's just a small part. We go there for the people.

 

These are the exact reasons that me and a firend have picked Cabo for a June visit. I never go this late in the year but i am,, because of this, "new atmosphere" at TTR cancun. I make several trips a year to temptations Cancun, but if I'm not going to feel comfortable,, I will take my money and my friends elsewhere,and ya I know alot of people already considering a move to another venue,,, that might appreciate it.

I feel for the entertainment staff... as they have been told alot of new rules to follow as well, including eliminating some of the poolside games.

 

Can somebody tell.us what happen with this crazy guys in april what is that bad.

 

Mostly fighting behind the front desk, taking libeties on women that they shouldn't have and being assholes. At least that is what we heard so take it with a grain of salt.

It was a group of 45 guys on a stag from the UK that started the problems,, ,, ok they're gone,, no need to keep punishing everyone,,,,sheesh

 

Guy, I think anyone that met and had the priveledge to meet and hang out with you ,would say it was our pleasure to have ya join our group and hopefully it wont be your last trip with us. I will certainly make an attempt one of the times to visit you and lorenzo and Jesse in December.

Thanks again for that great cruise Steve and the kind words about our fun group. That is one thing about our group is we are full of all kinds of people, married , single , old , young and I can see how some may have taken our sheer size of the group as a bit overwhelming when we all got together at Patty O's for Theme nights or something.. But like you said, our group is full of nothing but Fun, Respectful people that were there just to have fun like anyone else...
