We returned 9/3 from our second trip to TTR. We had two days at Pearl prior to TTR this trip. It is beautiful and the service is incredible but the party is non-existent. Anyways, we went on referral to TTR,upon arrival we were met by Reuben who was supposed to be our butler but long story short he stunk and was thankfully replaced by Edgar The Man. Edgar is amazing, he can and will get you anything you ask for, he's a top hand and will take the best care of you! Armando the bell man is also incredible and will no doubt be a butler by the time we go back again! We used Kalid transport and they were very good also. So upon arriving "home" we get checked in very quickly and surprisingly our room was ready at 11:30am. We checked out our room and unpacked before changing and heading for a quick lunch at the buffet before the sexy pool. Buffet is good, split into two sides, plenty of options. Here we met Dr William our waiter- the hubby had overdone it the day before at Pearl and Dr William prescribed a diet of Bloody Mary's as his medicine. Worked like a charm! We then made our way to the pool and we're delighted to see Manuel there-best bartender at the sexy pool hands down! Handed him our mugs and commenced to me wrongly identifying mutiple people lol until we finally found Norma Snockers & Dikfore at the pool. Shortly after that we saw Craig n Steph whom we hung out with the rest of the week and got into some fun but slightly naughty close encounters with The pool was honestly pretty mild all week, music was great, foam party was crazy. The addition of the cover and jacuzzis in the sexy pool were a great idea. Security is very much more lax on activities at the pool during the day and at night. However, they are also way too lax on the cameras rules. We ate at the Italian, Asian, Seafood, snack shack and buffet. The Italian and Asian were awesome! The rest were ok. The burgers are still just so so for us, be sure to have them cook them longer as ours were still very pink. The entertainment staff are trying, Mandingo was hilarious! Marciano is a very naughty boy haha. The night life was hopping as usual, we dressed for all theme nights, participation was less then 50%. I was the only one in bodypaint only for lingerie night and glow night. The paint was a hit and everyone wanted to touch it or ask about it. That's all the good, the bad was that there are literally stairs everywhere, handrails were not all installed, floors are still slippery as hell, the construction crews seem to be fighting one another in that the day workers seem to go around ripping out what the night workers did, there are random holes in floors, water leaks everywhere and did I say anything about the plethora of stairs? Bottom line if it were in the US it would not be open, but we still had a good week with fun people and strong drinks. The food is better then it was and the service we received was on par. We both came home with a stomach bug, same as last time lol.
