Can someone recomend me some good seafood in cancun? I'm looking for places that serve oyerters as well. Thanks.
El Cejas in Mercado 28. Tell any cabbie. It's great! And one of the few places that includes oysters in its seafood cocktails (vuelva la vida) and has an interesting take on oysters rockefeller.
El Harpon is really good and cheap too - I think it's in the road behind where you pay the electric bill on Lopez Portillo, basically if your heading towards Puerto Juarez, before the bridge, take a right just before the electric place, down there a few meters on the left. Pretty sure they have oysters and 10 pesos beer sometimes too!! The best place we've found for shrimp (and we're tried a lot) is on Route 4, if you go left into it from Bonampak (where Ezperana clinic is) and head straight on, over two, maybe three cross roads it's on your left hand side (it's the cross roads after the one with the Oxxo on it), it's always full but I can't remember the name of it, sorry.
