Boris is the scuba connection at TR. He is usually around the sports pool in the am. He's American(I think), blond hair, reall y nice guy. I haven't dived at TR but everyone who has gone with Boris says he was great and they have some good dives. One of my friends who is a divemaster loves diving in Cancun and especially Isla Majeres, had no complaints about safety, equipment. Sorry I can't help with prices but go for it!

    SCUBA in Cancun

We've been diving there several times. There are numerous outfits that do very well, but Cancun coastal diving is nothing compared to Cozumel wall diving. Some operators will get you out there, 2x dives, and back same day. We have never used the guy at the resort -- he seemed nice enough but seemed focused on newbie divers. We used these guys in Cozumel once: Dive Paradise, Cozumel MX - Island Reefs and they did a good job.

I thought the lessons with Brois.. and if we are talking about the same guy he's Canadian... from Vancouver, anyways I thought his lessons are free, and if you want to go on a dive he will take you at a resonable rate.

We did the dive last year with Boris . The lessons in the pool are free. Then we went out the next day for a 30 foot dive for 1 hour at bottom. The price was $75.00 p/p. If you have never been diving its great to find out if you like it. My wife had a hard time clearing her ears and said never again . Me I loved it. Bob

Thanks guys, I guess if the water is warm and Pam wants to get rid of me for a few hours I may go do some diving then. It would be nice to see her in a pool learning how to dive in a thong,, hmmm,,,
    Cozumel sounds interesting..
