America and Canada just extended travel ban until June 22nd and yes it’s official look it up Mexico may be open but we can’t go so sad
U.S. extends non-essential travel restrictions on Canada, Mexico through June 22 Not clear if this is just land borders or include flights. But it may not matter: Quintana Roo government rejects June 1 reopening by hotels
The land border closure has been extended until June 22nd Land Border I've explained this a hundred times over the last few weeks, seems I'll have to explain it a few more. There are no borders in the sky. Unless you are planning on driving your car down, taking a bus or walking, a land border closure does not affect air travel in any way. When was the last time your flight stopped at the border en route? Do Canadian flights to Mexico have to stop twice? https://www.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/publications/20_0519_as1_frn_us-mexico-border.pdf
@Steve first of all thanks I live in Illinois the propaganda capital of the world I take pride in not falling for it but what can I say I slipped we’ve already put off 2 trips and are so looking forward to seeing all of you crazies again Thanks for reeling us back in sorry for the commotion just ready to go
You're welcome. Sorry for my somewhat flippant reply. Just that I've answered the same question about 25 times today to different people and it's starting to drive me mad
I think the Mexican government just said no Cancun hotels will not reopen on June first like planned.
