Hey all...myself and three of my scottish friends (all 22) were planning a vacation to Cancun for spring break after seeing it on the net. How will we get on being Scottish?... \or is it pretty much an all American affair? And also where would be the best place to stay and at what time?thank you

You might have a problem wearing a kilt to the clubs and you probably won't be able to find a decent haggis anywhere. Other than that, Cancun is an international playground and you'll be welcomed and you'll enjoy yourself. Besides, most of us Yankees like Scotts, plus you'll find lots of European and Asian guests as well.

I suggest you prowl through the Spring Break section here to get a feel for the best breaker places. Enjoy yourselves!

I too am Scottish. I have been visiting Cancun since 1987 and believe me, you lads will have the time of your life. It doesn't matter what nationality you are, Cancun is a place designed for everyone, of all ages, to have a great time. Spring Break forum will help you decide on a hotel. Leave your kilt at home! (although some of the ladies might really like it)!!!! Come to Cancun and have a great vacation......Jaki

My OH is Scottish - he's had no problems at all - everyone usually loves his accent!
