agreed. Although I had somewhat of a late start today. the kiddies were fighting at bedtime, so it took a little while for them to conk out...then I finally ate my supper. love those little buggers to tears, tho :)

yeah, they can be troublesome sometimes

this is the OFFICIAL first day of summer for the girls...both got 'promoted' to the next grade...now they will be in 4th and Kindergarten next year

Ashlyn had her awards assembly yesterday and Ashlyn got a trophy for straight A's all year, 1st place for most AR (advanced reader) books for the year, and Music Student of the Month for May.

Yesterday was also her talent show at school. Her and two other girls Hula-hooped to Gary Glitter's "Rock n Roll part 2"...they had Tshirts made with tropical flowers on them and said 'Hula Hunnys' on the front :D The school LOVED the song (then again, who doesn't?) and clapped and got really into it during their 'performance'

Kathryn had 'field day' yesterday and came home with a painted mustache and beard  pirate style I guess....

    that's fun

I think I'll be taking on some of your roles as my kiddies get bigger. T comes from a culture that is not familiar with the fun things we grew up with over here...and I don't think she's ever played with a hula hoop!
