Is there anywhere to scan something larger than a legal sized document. I thought I would let my fingers do the walking. I have occasional ledger sized papers to scan. 11" x 17" and at this moment I have something 17" x 22". I would like to get this on a USB in order to get it on my computers. Thanks,
Have you tried Costco? Or that copy place over near Aquakan on Nader? The place on Nader does lots of work with Architects, I know they have a big plotter. So they might be able to scan an oversize doc.
I seem to recall seeing a BAS (Big-A$$-Scanner) at office depot's copy center, and as rivergirl said, any place that can print up the architectural blueprints should have a BAS too. Worst case scenario you have them "stitch" the image together from quarter scans.
Thanks. I will get in the car later and see what I can find out at those places. Will report back with the results.
TJ, in future, just scan each part of the image on your printer as straight as possible and then email them to me, i'll put it together perfectly for you, 5 min job.
Thanks to all. I went to Office Max and except for waiting about 10 minutes for one of the clerks to even make eye contact, I got good scans. My docs were 4 x the size of a sheet of typing paper. $50 each scan, saved on my USB Flash Drive.b Sam, thanks but too much detail and it would be near impossible for me to line them up close enough for you to do anything that would meet my necessary standards for this particular project. But thanks so much for the offer.
