Saying Hello

Hi,

I have read a number of the posts here about many of your trips and it seems as if most folks either continue to go back and/or enjoy their trips to TTR first time out. My wife and I have booked a trip for our first visit from the 20th to the 24th of August and since then we have found this forum. We are from Austin, TX (100% Texan not implanted/moved) and while we are not in the lifestyle, much of the fun that we've read about sounds like many of the care free events that we have watched and/or participated in the past. Being our first time to Cancun and TTR we are going to see the dolphins and the pyramid tour, but plan to be at the resort the rest of the time. The avatar is from our trip to Scottland so not as festive/beach appropriate as most, but that's us.

I will post our dates in the sticky thread, and we would be very pleased to meet and speak with any and all to help break the ice before our feet our on the ground and in person.

Hi Tom and Welcome!

While I won't be there until October..i know you guys will have a fab time. October will be my 3rd trip and I keep meeting people every time i go. I love it. Its a liberating, relaxing, fun, party your ass off (if you want it to be) place. No pressure from anyone everyone is friendly and from all over the world.

Word to the wise...wait and book your excursions after you arrive. After you spend some time here you may regret booking anything off the resort and most times you can find an excursion cheaper.

Hello!! Tom/Ally!! Just stopped in to say :wave::wave: Enjoy ur trip!! I'll be returning to TTR in May!! :headbanger:

 

Tom and Ally, go have a great time, be careful or you will end up being regulars like us, 6th trip in 2 years, like it was said before wait to book your excursions, you will probably have so much fun you won't care to leave. Go be yourself and let your hair down and you will have the time of your life. Tamie and I will be their the 20-27th be great to meet ya!!!!!!

 

We will already be there, so come say "hi" and we will buy the first round.

We will be there from the 9th - 23rd, so hopefully we will run into you between the 20th and the 23rd. Nonetheless, you will have a blast and luv it as we do.
