    Hey Cabo Friends,

Does anyone know, do we have to wake up at the crack of dawn to save chairs by the pool like we do in Cancun....or are there always plenty of them available? Thanks eveyone!

from what i have heard there is no problem at all getting chairs - its one of the main reasons we are going there in april ------ when one is on vacation they should not have to get up at 5 to get a damn chair

    :)

The only day you might have trouble getting the chair you want is on the day of arrival. Otherwise at 9 or 10o'clock you should have your pick. I think some of beds around the pool are reserved for premier or members but they are mark as such.

    thanks

    Thanks Guys!

Rob, I thought I read somewhere that you guys changed your mind about Cabo and were going to stick with CUN? I guess I am wrong :). I will do a detailed trip report when we get back.....We fell in love with Cancun in June.....and thought we would give Cabo a try....with only being to Cancun one time...then trying Cabo, I should be able to give a very fair resort comparison! Of course, it is what you make of it and the people you are with....so it she be a great time no matter what!

Getting a chair at Desire Cabo last month was a nightmare... Saw a guy there give Jesus' $100 cash to assure a set of chairs for the upcoming week and the next day he had no chair! He wasn't happy and Jesus' made it right thereafter.

There were people practically fighting over them and when some of us did plop a towel on one (of the back beds no less) before heading to breakfast, we'd soon return only to find our stuff confiscated and our spot pilfered. :/ Sad deal all around.
    That said....
Still rather deal with the chair hi-jinks than attend an otherwise empty ghost town Temptations....

we have had a lot of people talk to us about going and while i will never rule it out completely - one thing i am 100 percent of is that we have already purchased tickets and paid our stay at Temptation cabo for ten days in april and we are very much looking forward to it

could care less if it was a ghost town or not as long as i can have a vacation where i can hang with my friends..........new friends will meet there..............i dont have to feel as though i have to fight for a chair every morning..............arm wrestle a clerk for a dinner reservation..............get looked down upon if i cant party 24/7 for ten days staright............ then im good :) and will have a blast fer sho

we have loved our many trips to cancun - dont get me wrong - but we just wanted to do something a little different for once and see what it is like

    do some deep sea fishing
    play some golf
hang out in the hot tub at night (instead of standing around all night long)
    party
fine dining (some great places to eat in cabo)
    sleep

we just feel like cabo offers a few more vacation offers (not just a party) for us than cancun does

I am sure you have heard you can't swim at the beach at Tempations. If you miss that there are two beaches close that you can. They are called Santa Maria and Chileno beaches. You can take a taxi there or you can do a snorkeling trip that leaves out of the marina downtown Cabo San Lucas. Also a fun place to eat at Cabo San Lucas is The Office. At night it is very pretty with your feet in the sand and vendors mostly gone. Usually some band playing. Then top it off with a little Cabo Wabo dancing.
