Not interested in meetings and sales guy's wasting Valued Holiday and Party Time. So could soneone on here please tell us the deal on premier sales stuff? Is it pay so much a month and get so many days holiday etc or is there more to it??
Done the search button. Doesn't tell us Prices or what we get for money? Read all perks etc, but obviously it's more beneficial to hotel than to customers else they wouldn't sell it
Not something that we try to talk about too much on the forum because we have been asked to be respectful because it isn't a place for sales or pitching Referrals.
Which is why you do the vaction time investment if you are serious. Evr buy a car or house? You have to negotiate your deal for your own ptions, perks and package. It is not an off the rack purchase. You to tailor the deal to your own needs. Hence the time commitment on site. What others' have purchased, has so many variables that asking for the crib notes on here is rather irrelevant. Your posts have a negative bias, that, it is a waste of time and structured to hotels advantage. So just enjoy your vacation and ignore the sales staff
Agree with @marshe - it's a little like buying a car. When choosing a car you could buy a Volkswagen or you could buy a Porsche, you can choose add ons for each or just go for a basic model. You negotiate with the sales guy and decide whether it is a good fit for your holiday plans and whether you think it is value for money according to your means. Different people have different views on what is value to them, and different people have different financial means. There is no price list like a restaurant menu. Of course it is skewed in favour of Premier coming out on top, otherwise why run a business that loses money? The way Premier come out on top is that many people buy in and either never use it or not frequently enough. I've seen so many people selling their membership and they say things like, "bought 4 years ago, never used it, 500 nights remaining, unlikely to return due to financial issues". People lose jobs, relationships end, people get sick, people die, kids arrive - all sorts of reasons why a 25 yr commitment that sounds good at the time can change. Then there are some people who milk it for all its worth and then some, they are the ones that do get good value out of it and save a lot of money. But probably a minority, if everyone did so then Premier would lose money and they don't. You have to decide whether you can save or whether it will cost, and go from there.
@Steve.. That is the absolute best post I have ever seen you make on this polarizing subject. You summed it up and articulated way better than I did and nailed it perfectly
Yup the fundamentals of purchasing or not is very well conveyed. To make a wise purchase of a membership or not is in the details. And the only way to get the vital details is to endure the 2 or 3 or more hours across a bargaining table as you and I well know.
