Can anyone give me some info on the in-room safes at TTR? I'm assuming they provide one? and how big is it? Thinking of bringing an IPad, but I want to make sure it would fit in the safe......

First timers........ leaving tomorrow!!!! thanks all!!!

An I PAD Will fit in the safe. I would say the safe is 12 inches wide X 12 inches Deep X 5 inches high.

    Standard Hotel Safes.

I fit my laptop, two phones, wallets, her purse and the passports with no issues.

Ours would not work one time. We thought something funny was going on, turned out the batteries were out. It is a good sized safe.

Friends of ours had a safe that also was not working. They called down and asked to have it fixed, went to the pool and in a matter of minutes $1500, and credit cards were taken from their room....I too want to bring my iPad, but am a little leery of bringing anything I can't fit in my "pool bag"

I'm sorry but that sounds awfully fishy. who would leave $1500 laying around just like that?

I agree, when ours didn't work we took all the cash with us wherever we went until they got it fixed.
